Owing to a misunderstanding our speaker for April meeting did not arrive. My apologies for that.

However, we did have a pleasant afternoon chatting and deciding where to go for our June outing. It was decided that we would go by coach to a garden centre, Dobbies at Barlborough.

This has now been arranged. We will meet on 10th June at 12.30 pm at Stannington Library.

Our next meeting is on 13th May when our speaker will be Mr Pat McLaughlin showing slides and talking about Castles and Abbeys.
